My two cents worth, The student IS the one we serve, I believe. However, as any parent knows, part of raising children (students) is setting limits. None of the students I have encountered have objected to limited practice time on a concert piano. Such is the nature of life in a society. They might as well learn this in college, if they haven't all ready learned it elsewhere...
