Greg,

How I discovered this.  I noticed a caster was creating a sympathetic
vibration during a tuning.  So, I moved the piano a few inches to have the
caster touch the floor.  Resumed the tuning only to find that it didn't
sound right.  Made some checks to verify in the tenor section, lo and
behold, it was not where I put it.

Moved the piano back, went back in tune.  Went on and finished the tuning.

Please, keep in mind that these are university classroom pianos that are
used for theory training, therefore any deviation from decent intervals can
create a hindrance to the learning process.
