Another material that works quite well for this application: used cello string (for those of you that share a shop with an 'instrument tech') and the fine abrasive cord sold by a Pianotek and others under the 'Mitchell's' brand. Again, a second or two of abrasive action, and the agraffe is cleaned up, and no hassling with agraffe removal. Greg Granoff Humboldt State U.
