Gun Brush Size

I suppose if you were to test each pin with a torque wrench there would be
a few
pounds difference between pins but who cares.

Maybe a torque difference was from mis-sized pins. That's why I mic the
pins, placing
the smaller diameter pins up top with the larger pins in the bass and
discard the oval pins
[a spring loaded dial thickness gage (micrometer) helps in this regard]

I have mic'd as many as four different sizes within a set. .280, .281,
.282, .283;
sometimes even .279 and .284. Mic'ing smooths out the feel of the pins,
understandably.

I even run the brush through a new block after drilling to remove any glazing
left by the bit. But it definitely helps after the pins burnished the
holes during
removal, I also dip the pin into powdered rosin before driving.
