I was present when she pretty well savaged a technician and an instrument without bothering to check into why certain things may/may not have been perfect. She was, of course, all smiles, but the effect was devastating; and did unnecessary damage to several local folks who had put themselves pretty far out for her performance. Too condescending for words. Bad show. Not my problem, but I lost interest quickly. Life is too short to drive Chevys. The Bach, however, is probably the best since Gould (I do not personally care much for Louis Lortie's stuff). Best.
