drill press?

Oh? Try drilling out a lyre post dowel or drill new screw holes
for a leg plate or redrill filled holes for a caster or some
other jobs I have had to do with a table top. Floor models are
usually bigger, stronger motors, more speeds available. Try
drilling a two inch hole with a Forestner bit with a weak motor.

True, these types of jobs are rare but when you HAVE to you have
to, no way getting around that, except with a drill press that
has a long post and a long quill travel.

You always need more than you have.
