Interesting device...

I am wondering what your working definition for touch weight is in conjunction
with this device and how it is measured. Technicians generally operate with two
static measurements Down Weight and Up Weight. These two figurers tell us about
the basic friction and balance weight (what some call touchweight)
characteristics of a piano. And together with some other leverage parameters we
can understand quite abit about how an action is going to feel and perform for a
pianist.

A device that could measure down and up weight more accuratly then the present
most common method, and was quick, compact, automated..., and inexpensive to
purchase... would no doubt be of interest.
