John-In several of our rooms we hve installed these 'punch-pad' devices where you press buttons (it looks just like a telephone set) on this little box , and if the buttons you press match a preset combination, presto! the door opens. You can program any number of combinations so that various levels of access can be had- for instance, myself and the administrative assistant have one code, the clarinet teacher has another for his clarinet classes, etc.  They're expensive - I think around $500, but it saves a lot of hassle.
