I haven't tried this tool, so can't comment on it. I use old seatbelts with a 1 ton chain hoist. The belts can be wrapped to approximate the center of gravity, & then finer adjustments made by adjusting the straps. The ends are hooked together by a D clip or clevis. The key to the 4x6 / 2x6 system is keeping the 4x6 wedged TIGHT to the ceiling. Stability of the floor has to be looked at here. If the weight of the plate allows it to loosen any, it could start to tip. However unlikely that might be, the results would be unpleasant. The plate might not break, but you will age quickly. I'd be inclined to have some sort of brace from 2x6 to ceiling -- a Y of sorts. Nothing elaborate, just cheap insurance.
