For those of you who think that ET rules... The well know pianist did not notice that the piano was not in ET, only that it was impeccably tuned. However the audience experience was very responsive. Broadwood Best on a S&S D. Piano & cello. Beethoven , Medelssohn, Brahms w/ Rachmaninoff for an encore (which was exceptionally stirring). In WT, the treble sounds clearer/cleaner. Believe it, or not. The string players who run this chamber music festival are more receptive to intonation, especially placement of the thirds. They immediately accepted a WT. Now my next victim is the conductor of the local symphony. Maybe the neat time John O'Conner comes around (soon) I can offer an appropriate temperament for the program. :-) Veritunerly Yours, Jon Page
