This stuff also works great for those rattling fallboard flaps on S&S D's. Put a few drops of the thin stuff on the offending hinge joints (moving the flap occasionally as it sets, of course). They will probably get quite tight & squeaky, however, a shot of "Dri-Lube" (dry teflon spay with a quick evaporating carrier) will settle them down quickly, resulting in nice, firm, quiet hinges. CLP might work here as well, though not sure of the duability in this application. Worked like a charm, certainly better than a #26 center pin. I also came across a Loctite CA product with a brush inside for application. It really works great for a quick and dirty keybushing repair where water damage had loosened several bushings...I know, I know...I don't normally do that but time was of the essence. I'm keeping an eye on how well the brush keeps from building up dried CA glue. So far no problem but I'm putting it back in the bottle quickly. > > David I. > > > > _______________________________________________ > caut list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives
