Hi Conrad, I believe it's a case of "rules are rules". Here in the factory OSHA requires a grounded plug for a fan. Move it through a door into the office area and a 2 two prong plug is okay. The challenge is the fire marshall will not talk to me about the situation and just wants it fixed.
