hot hide glue wash

I have had that problem. Was it with a Kawai by chance? Tried the glue
wash and it still didn't stick. I finally had to use a different glue.

Do any of you, when rebushing with hot hide glue, have problems with
cloth not holding?   Have you tried a thin hide glue wash in the key
mortice prior to bushing?
