I spent a bit of time in the pianotech achives and couldn't find the
list from Newton. Could you give me some more info? I'd love to have his
list of specs.

Newton Hunt put a list of bore specs for various pianos on the pianotech
list a year or two ago.  Steinway will send you their specs if you ask
them.
