knuckle clamps for regluing buckskin

For regluing or replacing knuckle buckskins:

-cut 1/2" slices of 2" pvc pipe
-on a disc sander, sand a flat place to about 1mm thick
-cut through the thin place

The clamp looks like a closed C.  It gives just the right tension for =
gluing buckskins.
