Dear colleagues,
We have received critical feedback concerning the humor contained in the
2005 CAUT Newsletter. On reflection, we concur that it was in poor taste,
and might easily be construed as negative racial stereotyping.
We are in the process of removing the offending material from the
newsletter posted on the CAUT web page. We apologize for any offense that
may have been given.
