[CAUT] 1966 G-2 THANKS ALL!!

When I'm looking at the bridge on a Yamaha/Kawai for wire size (I always mic wire) I look at which end of the bridge the numbers start. If, for instance, the top treble several notches has nothing then 13.5, I conclude that those top notches have 13 wire strung there. 13.5 begins at 13.5 and goes towards the bass until 14, etc. Isn't this the way it is on all Yamahas? In other words it doesn't always start at the tenor bridge and go up...am I as clear as mud?
