Rather than buying it on the assumption for repair if it is simply as the dealer suggests, have him fix it for another inspection. he'll need to fix it anyway in order to sell it, or is that a reason for reduced price. In any event, go there yourself, mate the hammers to the strings to see if that indeed improves the situation before it gets dumped in your lap. -- Regards, Jon Page
