Thanks Gary, good to know the "econo" lighter works best. As I recall the "flameless torch" is at least a hundred an fifty bucks... that's a lot of Bics! My assistant found some cool charcoal lighters with a flexible gooseneck. Unfortunately, they seemed to have a much shorter lifespan than a traditional lighter. It works fine, similar to a heat gun, but smaller. It uses butane. It is rather expensive, and I only use it when my butane charcoal lighter fails. I also prefer an open flame like the charcoal lighter because it seems to work faster.
