[CAUT] Re. Flight of Broken Bass String

Hi All,

I love numbers. In the last ten years I have tuned approximately 66000
strings. There have been less than ten strings break or 0.0001512%

In that time frame I declined to tune 3 pianos to A440, and "wrote off"" 3
pianos as mechanically deficient.

That's close enough to zero for me to not worry about string breakage *ever*.

It also means my knot tying skills never get very well practiced--thank
heavens I was a scout and know two acceptable knots from that experience.

Regards,
Don Rose, B.Mus., A.M.U.S., A.MUS., R.P.T.
