A word of possible caution regarding block spacers instead of casters or truck... Students and faculty (and others) are in a perpetual state of hurry, most of the time. Even if there are no wheels, they *will* try to move the piano by pushing it. Whether or not they are successful, if the piano has a weak leg/case junction, this will put an inordinate amount of stress on it and may cause more problems than one would like (possibly of the spectacular variety). First and foremost, make *sure* that leg is really secure!! Just a thought (borne out by experience). Regards, Alan B. Crane, RPT School of Music Wichita State University alan.crane at wichita.edu
