Well, I wouldn't choose to use the term Perfect Pitch myself.... mainly because there is no such thing as perfect tone to begin with. Aquired pitch memory is a good concept, and it is indeed wonderful to admire how good some people in some instances can get at it. That said... nothing is poifect in the real world. Cheers RicB David, I have Perfect - Pitch - Recognition, or whatever this group decides to call it!..and I guess my level of 'perfection' must not be as good as that Wind Ensemble's hearing. I seriously doubt I could hear the difference between 440.00 and 440.69. That's less than 1 cent. 440 vs.442 - I'll hear that..but 440 vs.440.69? I doubt it. -Phil Bondi(Fl)
