My musical group--

While the other poster's suggested piano music was an interesting entry
(i've bookmarked it) I personally dislike the Romantic approach to Dominic's
music: playing it on he piano with "piano dynamics". Since I play these
sonatas on both piano and harpsichord I know what can and cannot be done
on a harpsichord. When he was alive Ralph Kirkpatrrick made some useful
comments about "harpsichordists" and "harpsichord players". One I recall was
that "all harpsichordists are good piano players". Which is true, since that
little box of wires needs a special touch to get dynamics. Also, the music is
composed such that certain sounds and effects can only be achieved from
plucked strings.

Believe it or not, but I also like piano music and good pianists.
My goddess for this year is Martha Argerich. below.

This is the First Movement of Rocky 3. Do your own searching for the other
five clips?
I am too lazy.

Cheers,
