Thanks Don Appreciate the offer to grab the new action brackets but this is another problem and one I think we talked about last time you were here at Wazzu. I've had to replace 34 broken strings in the capo section of the piano in the last eight years. The inserts under the capo bar appear to be bronze and not the grey alloy Chang has had so much trouble with over the last several years. I believe the problem is simply a bad batch of wire. My solution and I believe you suggested this also was to restring the capo section of the grand with fresh wire. Has anyone else encountered this problem and have a different solution?
