Cant say much about the price bit... I suppose David Porritt has is right in the end on that point. But I can say that the Boston GP 215 is a rather nice piano. Quite different sound then most of what else comes out of Far East piano production. Big round bass with little or none of that brashy metalic sound. Tenor is more fat, and tenor more clear and bell like. Down side seems to be that they simply can not be overdriven with regard to voicing. A Yamaha can be tolerable when too bright... i.e. hammers too hard. But a Boston gets downright ugly. That said, when voiced nicely I simply am downright charmed by their sound. Cheers RicB I recently contacted a dealer which carries both for prices on Boston GP-215 (7'1") and Kawai RX-6 (7'0") and was told they were exactly the same price, both list and sell price.
