Hi David,

I would talk to Roger Gable in Everett, WA (Seattle area).  He has a fleet 
of Yamaha uprights and grands he rents for concert purposes and knows a 
ton about the Yamaha's.  His e-mail is rgable2 at verizon.net.   His tele is

Personally, I like the Yamaha's fortissimo over the Kawai.

I have a customer looking at a 1990 Yamaha C5 (apparently little used..I 
will inspect) and a new RX2.  For about the same price.  Any input on your 
preference?
