John: Several years ago Steinway announced a licensing agreement to let the Steinway name be used on other (high end) products. I'm sure that if I were selling hearing aids I'd like having the Steinway name on them ("they're the best for hearing music!!!") I think it's just an attempt to get the most money from the product name they have marketed so well in the past. dp David M. I received my winter issue of STEINWAY & SONS magazine recently (the one written for consumers of very high end luxury items...like yachts, expensive wines and cigars) and noticed some adds for products I just never thought I'd see in a million years. There are now S&S hearing aids, golf items(including balls)as well as a line of furniture coming soon. Here are a few links: http://www.steinwaycollections.com/ http://www.verve.phonak.com/ I wonder when they'll show up in the S&S parts catalogue! I'm looking forward to showing up for a tuning and impressing my customers with a S&S hearing aid. : ) We do indeed live in interesting times! John Minor University of Illinois
