Diane, I'm a veteran, and I'm sure many piano technicians are. Is there any reason to suppose that the percentage of piano techs who are veterans is far off from the national percentage of vets across all occupational groups? I don't know offhand what that number is, but you should easily be able to locate it. I do have some tinnitus, but I haven't noticed it till quite recently, and my service time was during the '70s. Although I was around some loud stuff in the army (comes with the territory), I don't think I'll be getting a disability pension for that. The tinnitus doesn't bother my tuning. Under "normal" environmental noise levels, I almost never notice it. John Granholm RPT Roseburg OR On May 13, 2007, at 12:51 AM, Diane Hofstetter wrote: > Are any of you veterans?
