Regarding the selection process in New York. Does any one know if a non factory technician could spend some time on an instrument that has potential, but needs just a little more tweeking. In other words, if there is a piano that is close, but not exactly what you want, or what a piano prof wants, but maybe with a little voicing, the way you like it, could be just what you want.
