Recently, on this list, an article regarding the sale of Bösendorfer has been reprinted in its entirety not once, but several times. At the bottom of the article is says >> Copyright © 2002 Playbill, Inc. All Rights Reserved What does this mean? Does it mean that it is OK to copy the whole article as long as you include the copyright information? I always thought that is means that the article must not be copied without expressed permission by the copyright holder. It seems that the PTG and the Journal go to great lengths to assure copyright on their (our) materials. Would it be OK for anyone to copy a Journal article and make it public, say on a web site of piano forum? I suspect not. If there is indeed copyright infringement going on with reproduction of the Playbill article on the CAUT list, can it be that the PTG is being exposed to legal risk, as this list is part of the PTG website? I don't want to berate anyone here, I am just asking for clarification. Jurgen Goering
