Greetings, << I just pulled a plate from a Steinway M that is absolutely filthy. What would be the best cleaning solution to use? >> I have had good luck with 409, if solvents are not needed. Spray a wet coat on a small portion and brush it around with a small brush, wipe up all at once, then go to the next section.
