I use PVC-E, and after clamping the first time, I have found no need to clamp since. So it is definitely my glue of choice. Tried contact cement once, didn't like the hassle. When I first started out even used the acetone, and old key tops. The key tops dissolved, making the glue. It was a suggestion from a PTG Journal, of the '70's. No, PVC-E is the best. It's best for materials that have different expansion rates since it remains somewhat flexible after it dries. Clamp time is minimal and can be very light. I thought contact cement was the glue of choice, but I've seen some bad key top jobs with the glue letting go. It looks like the glue was contact cement, but I'm not sure. One of the supply houses touts PVC-E. Any suggestions? Richard West John M.Ross Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
