I heard put it in the sunlight, then brush off.
I have also used a sand blaster with glass beads, and a lower pressure.
Make sure you remove the cause of the mould, otherwise it will come back.

  Subject: [CAUT] Cleaning old mold

  Hi,

I need to clean old mold out of a 1940 ebony Steinway. I've heard to just vacuum off the old mold, clean it with a mild detergent solution, rinse & dry. Also noted that bleach is not the solution to use.

  Is this about right??

  Ruth
