Even better might be to engage the smaller builders in an effort for a
learning community to support learning. What a concept!!

Once the faculty catches the idea of testing the pianos on location, you 
have a real winning situation.
Call PianoDisc about getting a big Mason & Hamlin to test, call Sauter and 
Fazioli.
Call David Anderson and see what he has to offer. Call every West Coast 
dealer.

Every major builder will be sending a big piano to Anaheim for NAMM. They 
could send it to you before or after.
You and your faculty can go to NAMM and see two hundred pianos.
A poor state university in Louisiana recently bought two Fazioli pianos 
because somebody got excited.

Piano builders want to place their instruments in prestigious universities. 
They will cut big deals.

Give it energy now, or it will lapse into same old same old.
