Or, as Geoffrey Chaucer says, "Sound is naught but ayre ybroken." Which is pretty much the poetic version of what Don Mannino just said. But on a tech board, I'm much more comfortable with physics and math than I am with poetry. Less ambiguity.

Which also reminds us that the real language of physics is math.  All other descriptions are poetry.
