we usually use ROnsen BAcon for hammer replacement on Yamaha U series uprights and C series grands in practice rooms and small studios. I tried a set of Abel Naturals on a C3 recently and was very pleased. I don't think that they are available yet (if ever will be) for uprights. We have had to do a light juicing with lacquer and thinner on the top ends (about 60 on up) on occasion but not always. We let them go for a few weeks and see how they play in. Doesn't take long when the pianos are in use 10 hours a day.
