Well, I guess sombody has to....Always tryin to think ahead of the curve to get the best out of the performances Freted and Harpsi are continuo. Recorders are wood. Some are borrowed from my personal collection. Players are not "that" sensitive as they are graduate and PhD profs. Pretty neat group and willing to accept my recomendations. I'm trying to remove the notion of negotiation thus the open question to the forum. Do the fretted instruments have to play with the harpsichord? What kinds of recorders? (Plastic baroque ET?) How sensitive to pitch are the players? I suppose in an ideal ensemble, this would be negotiated by the players. Traditional instruments are being used. Viola da Gamba, Lute, Archlute, Recorder(s), Harpsichord continuo. I'm open to your thoughts on appropriate temperaments as this is looking to be lots of fun for all. Thanks in advance, Gerry Cousins WCUPA Program Sinfonia Seconda à 4 con 2 Bassi..................
