Interesting. I have a practice room floor full of 1098, Yamaha U1, and Boston UP118. The newest are the Boston's and they will be the first retired, even though they are 12 years newer than the U1 specimens, and 25 years newer than the 1098's. Glad to hear the 126 and 132 models are sturdy; the 118's here, uh, are not. The staying-in-tune champ here is the Yamaha U1 by mile; I think they are beefy enough.
