My polish of preference for agraffes is Noxon. Sometimes I have to give it two applications but this is the easiest and best metal polish I have found to work with. Willis Snyder did some tests a few (ok more than a few) years ago and found that it also leaves no residual chemical print. Good for keypins, capstans and sostenuto knives as well. Available at hardware stores everywhere. Green plastic bottle.
