Paul:

We used to use the Steinway provided black adhesive backed tape. Why pay
the price. The adhesive-backed brown nameboard felt available from any of the
other major vendors is quite inexpensive and does the same thing.

Hi All,

What do you all use for action rail flange cloth, or do you
just get some from Steinway or wherever...?

This L I'm working on is in bad shape. I took the old hammer
flanges off today and the cloth underneath literally disolved in my hands into
dust.  Has anyone used stringing braid cloth?

Thanks
