Thanks to all for the ideas. I have usually done the razor blade thing using them as scrapers. I even unwrapped a brand new one today for this job and that's what I'm currently doing. However, I find it to be not the most rewarding work I do so was looking for the easy button. I think all the pianists here also work on cars in their spare time. "Wash my whats"? dp David M.
