Thanks, Ron. I think they are more destroyed than that...the whole dovetail is gone. Hi Jeannie, Against all odds, I looked at the piano I have in the shop, and there was a repair. The inlays are about 3mm thick maple. The details would probably differ, But I'd do roughly the same thing. Ron N
