(his wife winces when he says it) or the church music director, a creative teacher and composer, who doesn't notice when the low tenor notes drop 15 cents in December. And the pianists, some professional musicians, who ask "Did it really need tuning?" What do people hear? Walter seems to be playing happily, and very well, but... Ed Sutton
