It IS helpful to have some idea of what to expect from various visiting artists, so I, for one, appreciate Kent's forewarning. That said, to take only one person's experience as 100% indicative is to play "blind men and the elephant" with the matter. Maybe Mr. Kirchoff is moody, or perhaps he behaves differently with females (than with males (which certainly wouldn't be the first time that ever happened, if such is the case). My 2 cents. Not omething that needs to be broadcast across this forum. In our lives we will ross paths with many different personality types...some that we will compatible ith and others, not so much. It's just the way things are. My experience was hat he was always very courteous. Amy Porter >> Kent Swafford <kswafford at gmail.com> 03/22/10 6:55 AM >>> e is obviously gifted. Not an issue. I love new music. Performances of new music need not be abusive of pianos. As it turns out, he is as abusive of people (me, that is) as he is of pianos. Piano techs, you have been warned.
