I have Adobe Acrobat Professional and could turn the Word files into .PDF files.  You might also have that, I just thought I'd offer to do that if it would help.

Yes, that was what I said: I will send draft files to anyone who contacts me. Complete at this point except for the table of contents and the seven pages of illustrations (line drawings).
