No question that the WNG parts would be a great choice for the M&H that you are having issues with. The new WNG parts with the hard bushings are much better than the first generation of wool bushed parts in many ways. They have gotten their manufacturing process down.

Hi Ed-

Yes, we considered but I had already invested significant labor reconditioning these original reps and wasn't as confident matching wood whippens with composite shanks. I suppose that should work fine though.
Anyway, I had already bored the hammers to 7/32 when we learned of the delay on Renner replacements- so we put that project to the side and waited. I have a set of WNG for Baldwin on the shelf here and may give those a try soon.

regards,

Dennis.

Renner USA now has available replacement shanks and flanges for these. Lloyd told me they are a copy of the Falcone flange. We had a set on order for some time and they finally arrived this week. <<

Greetings,
Did you consider the WNG nylon parts? I think they have all the M&H dimensions covered, and I seem to remember that they can duplicate whatever flange/shank combo needed. Never seen anything as consistent as they are, and the last two actions I have put together with them have gone together like the engineers designed them. When regulated, all the let-off buttons and drop screws are in straight rows. (that IS where most of the irregularities accumulate when the regulation is done). I have never seen that with wooden parts.
