Hi Bob.

No, remember, you were going to plane down your key frame by 3mm.  That's
approx. 1/8" in my language, so trimming 1/8" off the bottom of the felt on
ten or fifteen hammers isn't going to make any difference.  No worries.

I invite you to replace the bass strings with a set of Isaac Profundo bass
strings.  My strings will bring out the fullest, richest, most musical tone
your piano has to give.

I like that idea. It sounds simple and workable. I guess that won't
compromise the firm attachment of the felt to the hammer core.
