Being in a dry climate will give problems with shut off of the Accu tuner. A big step in solving the problem is a tuning hammer available from Norm Snyder of 98 Riverside Dr, NY NY, tel# 212 580 8051. I have used it since coming back from the national PTG convention, and it all but eliminated the static electricity problem for me. Vince
