Plastic action parts

I have been fortunate to not have to do any serious work on Kawai or Tokai
pianos with ABS plastic parts.  Now there is a good possibility that I'll
have to repin the jacks on one for an outside customer.  If I use a larger
pin in the jack do I run a good risk of cracking it?  I have the feeling
the ABS plastic is not as forgiving of oversized pins as wood.

If anyone has had to do this I'd love to gain from your experience.
