Plastic action parts

My experience is that ABS is not the usual type plastic. I think it is one of
those composite materials like Lexican.  They make bike helmets and things like
that out of it.  I once saw a sales rep smash a damper lever with a hammer and
as I recall the stuff deforms but it doesn't crack. Probably the only real
difficulty with the product is selecting the right kind of adhesive for things
like flange bushing cloth.
